1. Independent Contractor Status
You are an independent contractor, not an employee of BuildFast Delivery. You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and expenses. BuildFast does not withhold taxes from your earnings. You will receive a 1099 form if you earn over $600 in a calendar year.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To drive for BuildFast you must: be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, have a reliable vehicle, pass a background check, have valid auto insurance, and have a smartphone capable of running the BuildFast Driver app.
3. Earnings & Pay
Drivers receive 60% of the delivery fee for each completed delivery. The $4.99 app fee is retained by BuildFast. 100% of customer tips go directly to the driver. BuildFast never takes a cut of tips. Earnings are paid out weekly via Zelle or Venmo.
4. BuildFast Driver Card
Upon accepting an order, your BuildFast PEX card will be loaded with the exact order amount. This card may only be used at approved stores — Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards, and Ace Hardware. Misuse of the card for unauthorized purchases will result in immediate deactivation and potential legal action.
5. Order Standards
Drivers must pick up the exact items listed on the order. Substitutions must be approved by the customer through the app. Drivers must deliver orders to the specified job site address and obtain photo proof of delivery.
6. Code of Conduct
Drivers must maintain professional behavior at all times with customers, store staff, and BuildFast personnel. Harassment, dishonesty, theft, or unsafe driving will result in immediate deactivation with no appeal.
7. Deactivation
BuildFast reserves the right to deactivate any driver account at any time for violations of these terms, low ratings, fraudulent activity, or misuse of the BuildFast card.
8. Liability
BuildFast is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during a delivery. Drivers are responsible for maintaining adequate auto insurance coverage. BuildFast recommends drivers inform their insurance provider that they use their vehicle for delivery services.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any disputes shall be resolved in Greene County, Missouri.

At BuildFast we believe drivers are the backbone of our business. Without great drivers there is no BuildFast. This policy outlines our commitment to treating every driver with fairness, respect and transparency.
1. Transparent Pay
We will never hide fees or change your pay without notice. You always know exactly what you will earn before you accept an order. Your 60% of the delivery fee and 100% of tips will never be reduced without at least 30 days written notice.
2. Zero Out of Pocket
Your BuildFast card is loaded before you ever leave for the store. You will never spend your own money on an order. If there is ever an issue with your card we will resolve it immediately.
3. Flexible Scheduling
You choose when you work. There are no minimum hour requirements, no shift commitments, and no penalties for going offline. Work when it fits your life.
4. Timely Payment
Earnings are paid every week with no delays. If there is ever a payment issue we will resolve it within 24 hours.
5. Fair Deactivation Process
We will never deactivate a driver account without reason. If your account is flagged you will be notified and given the opportunity to respond before any action is taken — except in cases of fraud, theft, or safety violations which require immediate action.
6. No Discrimination
BuildFast does not discriminate against any driver based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
